Small Town Murder’s - Rovio
Rovio renowned for their Angry Bird’s franchise, diversified their gaming portfolio with the launch of the match-3 puzzle game Small Town Murder’s.
As an influencer marketing agency with exceptional podcast marketing services, we were brought in as key media partners to build a strong podcast marketing campaign for Rovio, that complimented the YouTube marketing campaign we also managed for them.
From discussions with Rovio, the key aims and objectives for the podcast marketing campaign were set out. The first of which was that the campaign was to focus predominantly on a female audience aged 25+ within the English-speaking market. Additional objectives consisted of driving and tracking installs, while building a new scalable source of user acquisition.
With the demographic and key deliverables for the podcast marketing campaign laid out, we turned our attention towards employing a data-driven approach in order to provide the client with key insights in order to narrow the campaign scope further and advise the client on the fundamental components such as content verticals, that we knew would generate the best performance output. We then methodically created a tailored sheet for the client consisting of key data insights and deliverables, centred around the key objectives and target audience established.
From this, we produced a fully tracked podcast campaign that focused on a female 25+ demographic and content verticals such as true crime and parenting; which generated a positive ROI and a ROAS greater than 500% within 30 days. As well as this the campaign successfully drove install’s and became an effective source for user acquisition.
