Launching a AAA title with gaming influencers
Using a strategic selection of big Twitch Influencers and YouTube Influencers across the Hero Shooters (Valorant, Overwatch), Fortnite, and FPS (First Person Shooter) verticals, we crafted an Influencer Marketing strategy to drive awareness, engagement, and registrations for NetEase & Marvel’s highly anticipated game – Marvel Rivals.
Consulting prior performance reports and audience demographics & behavioural data, we knew that these gaming influencers had engaged audiences who matched the game’s core audience demographic of 18+ Males interested in shooter games.
A strategic mix of content types and formats across the platforms – including dedicated streams & videos to shorter integrations; along with unique creative briefs crafted specifically for each influencer and their audiences, helped us drive wider reach in authentic, engaging ways while showing off the best aspects of the game, like the stunning visuals and engaging gameplay.
Creative concepts like two influencers facing off in a game battle showed the engaging battles and fun, competitive player experience in an extended format, with the unique event providing an added incentive for both sides’ audiences to tune in.
This strategic approach integrating key data-analysis and creative insights helped us drive wider reach, engagement, and conversions, producing over 3M+ views in under a week within the target CPMs.
