We needed to reach high-value female players aged 35+ for Scatter Slots while ensuring strict compliance and brand safety in the social casino category. Lack of control over content distribution in typical creator channels made it essential to explore a new, trustworthy format that could engage audiences effectively and in a trustworthy way.
We designed a podcast campaign targeting top-performing verticals for the older female audience segment, leveraging top performing verticals like True Crime and Society & Culture, carefully selecting shows whose demographics aligned with our target.
Mid-roll segments allowed us to reach listeners when they were most engaged and least likely to skip ads. We chose host-read ad creatives to build authenticity and listener trust, while dynamic ad units allowed live optimisation, controlled CPMs, and brand safety monitoring. Every script and draft was thoroughly vetted to meet compliance standards, and show metrics were cross-checked for age relevance.
By combining precise targeting, trusted placements, and real-time optimisation, we were able to deliver over 700K impressions whilst keeping CPMs well below the threshold, reaching the right audience with engagement-focused creative and establishing podcast advertising as a reliable, compliant channel for reaching valuable audiences.
