YouTube Influencer Marketing for Mobile Gaming
Having worked on Influencer Marketing campaigns for many licensed IP-based mobile games as well as strategy games, we had a large database of performance and campaign execution insights to guide our influencer strategy for Tacticus.
The objective was to scale installs particularly amongst a target audience of 25+ Males.
Our approach to finding influencers was informed by a combination of analysing data on:
- Game features
- Tacticus’ audience profiles from other marketing channels
- Competitor performance data – top performers for other strategy & IP-based RPG games with similar target audiences
Using our testing framework, we curated a selection of influencers from different verticals our search strategy suggested could yield strong performers like RPGs, Mobile games, Sci-fi games, and TableTop gaming.
This strategic approach to planning and our wide network of creators helped us establish a scalable and insight driven influencer marketing strategy for Warhammer Tacticus that successfully reached the core target audiences and achieved the target CPMs.
