World of Warships - Wargaming
World of Warships is a tactical 3D multiplayer free-to-play mobile game about navy war strategy, where players team up to snipe, shoot and destroy their enemies. The game features over 200 distinct historical military ships from WW1 and WW2.
As an accomplished influencer marketing agency, we were brought in as performance based media partners to devise a YouTube marketing campaign strategy that amplified the benefits of both influencer marketing and YouTube marketing.
Based upon initial discussions with the client, the target audience for the campaign was established to be males aged 18+ within the English-speaking market and Europe. With the main objectives for this campaign centring on ensuring a strong ROI from high-value user acquisition.
Working in conjunction with the client, we began by utilising our internal and external performance data sources, including outputs from previous influencer marketing campaigns we had managed in the past, to adopt a data driven approach. In doing so, we were able to advise the client what we believed would drive the highest conversion rate and ROI and why.
Our strategy was clearly constructed; we built a campaign for the client that consisted of talent with a predominately male audience aged 18+ across both English-speaking markets and Europe. After this, we began to analyse content verticals within this demographic, ensuring we focused on verticals such as entertainment, superheroes and gaming due to the data output from our analysis. All of which we compiled into a spreadsheet for the client.
In doing so, we produced a fully tracked YouTube marketing campaign that produced a scalable ROI, successfully drove install’s and became an effective source for user acquisition.
